Islamabad: Senator Faisal Vawda has acknowledged Maulana Fazlur Rehman as a key player in the country’s politics, stating that his opinion and support are vital for Pakistan’s political stability.
Vawda revealed that Maulana Fazlur Rehman will make his own decision regarding the 27th Constitutional Amendment and that he is also preparing for the 28th Amendment. He clarified that the 18th Amendment is not being abolished, and with the current number of votes in favor, the chances of the 27th Amendment passing remain promising.
On the matter of constitutional reforms, Vawda emphasized the importance of consultation and revision through dialogue, suggesting that PTI should also be brought on board regarding this issue.
Discussing national security, Vawda stated that defense is not just about conventional warfare, but also includes cyber threats and the global economic battle. He emphasized that strengthening the armed forces of Pakistan is essential for the nation’s overall defense and security.
