Islamabad: Apple has officially launched its latest iPhone 17 series in Pakistan, which includes the iPhone 17, 17 Pro, 17 Pro Max, and the all-new iPhone Air. These phones come with various storage capacities, with prices ranging from PKR 399,000 to PKR 898,000.
Following approval from the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), all models are now available with full network compatibility and official warranty support in the country.
A price comparison reveals that these devices are significantly more expensive in Pakistan than in the U.S. market — mainly due to import duties, taxes, and additional PTA registration charges. For example, the iPhone 17 Pro Max (256GB) is priced at around $1,199 in the U.S., but starts at PKR 565,000 in Pakistan.
The iPhone 17 series is powered by the ultra-fast A17 chip, taking device performance to a whole new level. The Pro and Pro Max models feature advanced cameras and lenses, optimized for low-light photography, along with notable improvements in battery life.
The new iPhone Air stands out with its slim and lightweight design, making it easy to hold and ideal for everyday use. It is expected to gain popularity among users looking for a more compact iPhone experience.
While this new series is a technological gift for Apple fans, the sky-high prices could pose a challenge for many Pakistani consumers.
