Islamabad : The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced a new initiative that allows citizens in six cities of Sindh to register key life events—such as births, deaths, marriages, and divorces—via their mobile phones.
According to NADRA, the mobile registration facility is now available in the Union Councils of Karachi East, Shaheed Benazirabad, Larkana, Jamshoro, Tando Muhammad Khan, and Tando Allahyar.
With this new service, citizens no longer need to visit Union Council offices to complete their registrations. Instead, they can easily submit their applications using the Pak ID Mobile App, along with the necessary documentation, and receive the required certificates from the convenience of their homes.
NADRA has also indicated that efforts are underway to expand this service to other areas, and it is expected to be available across all of Sindh soon.
