Karachi: Governor of Sindh, Kamran Tessori, stated that the cowardly actions of terrorists will never break the spirit of the Pakistani people and assured that they would receive a severe and fitting response, similar to the one faced by the disruptors on May 10.
In a conversation with the media, Governor Tessori expressed his firm stance on the recent wave of violence, accusing India of being directly involved in the ongoing terrorist activities in the country. He emphasized that the nation’s resolve is “soaring high like a kite,” and no external force can intimidate Pakistan.
He also praised the success of the “My Karachi” exhibition, calling it a slap to the face of terrorists and adversaries. According to him, the development of Karachi requires collective effort from all segments of society, as national progress is closely tied to the economic stability of the city.
During his comments, Governor Tessori shared that he had planned to visit Lahore during the Basant festival but was forced to cancel his trip due to the unfortunate incident in Islamabad. He said, “I intended to visit Lahore to convey a message: Basant is yours, but the kite belongs to us.”
Concluding his statement, Tessori emphasized that Karachi is the economic heart of Pakistan and ensuring the city’s prosperity is the greatest defeat for the nation’s enemies.
