Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar held a meeting with British High Commissioner Jane Marriott to discuss the evolving regional developments and the overall security situation.
A statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pakistan said that Ishaq Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to promoting dialogue and engagement among concerned parties, emphasizing that sustainable peace can only be achieved through diplomatic channels rather than confrontation.
The British High Commissioner acknowledged Pakistan’s efforts in facilitating communication that contributed to encouraging dialogue between the United States and Iran.
Both sides agreed on the importance of diplomacy and continued engagement as the most effective way to reduce tensions and support stability in the region.
