Pakistan has categorically rejected the provocative and irresponsible remarks made by the Indian Prime Minister during a recent public address in Rajasthan.
The Foreign Office issued a statement on Friday condemning the allegations as baseless and filled with distortions and inflammatory rhetoric.
It emphasized that such statements are aimed at stoking regional tensions for narrow political gains, violating norms of responsible statecraft and international law.
Call for Restraint and Peaceful Dialogue
The statement highlighted that threats of military action against a sovereign nation breach the United Nations Charter and undermine regional stability.
Pakistan reaffirmed its consistent role as a proactive partner in the global fight against terrorism, dismissing any attempts to link it with terrorism as factually incorrect and misleading.
The Foreign Office pointed out India’s tactic of scapegoating Pakistan to divert attention from its repressive policies in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
Commitment to Sovereignty and Regional Stability
Pakistan urged the Indian leadership to exercise responsibility and refrain from escalatory rhetoric, which only exacerbates tensions.
It called for resolving disputes through peaceful dialogue and diplomacy rather than warmongering for electoral gain.
The statement reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to peaceful coexistence and regional stability, while also warning that any aggression will be met with a resolute and proportionate response to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The Foreign Office further appealed to the international community to take serious note of India’s aggressive posture and hate-driven narratives, stressing that lasting peace in South Asia depends on dialogue, mutual respect, and adherence to international law.
