ISLAMABAD: A catastrophic Air India plane crash near Ahmedabad airport has resulted in the deaths of more than 200 people, with only one survivor reported.
The Boeing 787 Dreamliner was carrying 242 passengers and crew, bound for London’s Gatwick Airport, when it crashed shortly after takeoff on June 12, 2025.
The aircraft came down in a residential area, striking a medical college hostel during lunch hour, causing widespread devastation.
