Pakistan Stands Firm Against Indian Hegemony

ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Asim Munir declared that Pakistan will never accept Indian dominance in the region.

He made these remarks while addressing probationary officers of the 52nd Common Training Program at the Civil Services Academy.

The session took place at the Army Auditorium, where the officers shared experiences from their time with Pakistan Army formations in Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan.

This interaction is part of a national effort to enhance cooperation and understanding between Pakistan’s civil and military leadership.

India’s Role in Regional Terrorism

Field Marshal Munir emphasized that India is the biggest sponsor of terrorism in South Asia.

He praised the exemplary unity shown by all Pakistani state institutions during the Marka-e-Haq operation.

The COAS stressed the importance of strong cooperation between the government, armed forces, and the people for Pakistan’s progress and security.

He noted that Pakistan’s civil administration carries a significant responsibility in maintaining harmony and effective governance.

Commitment to National Security and Regional Peace

The COAS highlighted Pakistan’s firm response to Indian aggression, ranging from Kashmir’s Line of Control to coastal borders.

He stated that divine support and national righteousness empower Pakistan’s armed forces, which remain prepared for modern warfare.

Acknowledging Afghanistan as a brotherly Islamic neighbor, he urged it not to harbor Indian-backed terrorist groups.

He also warned officers to build courage, competence, and character, with character being the highest priority.

Field Marshal Asim Munir reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering stance against Indian pressure and underscored the critical role of inter-institutional unity in advancing Pakistan’s strategic goals.

The civil service officers expressed gratitude for the opportunity to engage with the army leadership and understand its vision and readiness.
