Islamabad (Web Desk):President Asif Ali Zardari has formally signed the Finance Bill 2025–26, giving it constitutional assent. With this approval, the bill will come into effect starting July 1, 2025, marking the beginning of the new fiscal year.
After being passed by the National Assembly, the bill was sent to the Presidency, where the President ratified it in accordance with constitutional requirements.
The approved bill includes 10 full amendments and 2 sub-amendments proposed by the government, while 78 amendments put forward by the opposition were rejected.
Following presidential assent, the Finance Bill has now been sent for publication in the official gazette, after which its provisions will be formally implemented.
