No Protest, Only Unity: PTI’s Journey from Islamabad to Lahore Explained by Ali Amin Gandapur

Islamabad:Under the leadership of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, a convoy of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) lawmakers is making its way from Islamabad to Lahore — but this is no march of dissent.

Clarifying the purpose ahead of departure, Gandapur emphasized that the caravan is a symbol of solidarity, standing with party members recently expelled from the Punjab Assembly. “If anyone thinks this is a protest, they need to rethink — this is a peaceful expression of unity,” he declared.

At a gathering held in KP House, PTI’s top brass — including Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan and Secretary-General Salman Akram Raja — assured that their mission is rooted in dialogue and democratic process, firmly rejecting any notions of unconstitutional moves or fears of arrests.

Bearing a message of peace, tolerance, and brotherhood, the delegation plans a series of strategic meetings in Lahore to chart the road ahead, including preparations for the upcoming Senate elections.
