Pakistan Strongly Rejects Indian MEA’s Remarks, Denies Nuclear Blackmail Allegations

Islamabad:Pakistan’s Foreign Office spokesperson has strongly rejected the statement made earlier by the Indian Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), accusing India of distorting facts and taking remarks out of context. The spokesperson described India’s claims of “nuclear blackmail” as misleading and without any basis.

Emphasizing Pakistan’s responsible conduct as a nuclear state, the spokesperson highlighted the country’s strict command and control system under civilian oversight and its disciplined approach to sensitive issues. Pakistan’s counterterrorism efforts were described as credible and internationally recognized.

The spokesperson criticized India’s attempts to involve third countries to pressure Pakistan, calling it an indication of India’s diplomatic insecurity. Pakistan reaffirmed its commitment to peace and responsible diplomacy but warned that any Indian aggression or violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty would be met with an immediate and proportionate response.

The statement concluded by placing the responsibility for any escalation squarely on the Indian leadership.
