Islamabad: The District and Sessions Court Islamabad has ordered the judicial remand and imprisonment of Hasan Zahid, who is accused in the case of abduction attempt and murder threats against young TikToker Samia Hijab.
During the hearing presided over by Judicial Magistrate Yasir Mahmood Chaudhry, the police had requested a five-day physical remand of the accused. However, the court directed that Hasan Zahid be sent to jail on judicial remand instead.
It is noteworthy that Hasan Zahid faces charges registered at Shalimar Police Station for allegedly attempting to abduct Samia Hijab outside her home. Samia has also accused him of issuing threats to kill her.
In a video statement, Samia revealed that Hasan Zahid was her former fiancé and their engagement had been called off prior to these incidents.
