Washington : Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif engaged in cordial and informal discussions with several international leaders on the sidelines of the inaugural Board of Peace (BoP) meeting in Washington.
On his three-day official visit to the US at the invitation of President Donald Trump, Sharif met with leaders including Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, and Indonesia’s President Prabowo Subianto. The conversations reflected genuine warmth and a spirit of cooperation, with leaders exchanging perspectives on key regional and global issues.
These interactions underscored a shared commitment to dialogue and strengthened international partnerships. Pakistan’s active participation in the Board of Peace highlights recognition of its diplomatic efforts, proactive foreign policy, and contributions toward advancing peace in Gaza, supporting reconstruction initiatives, and promoting broader global stability.
