Operation Ghazab lil-Haq: 67 Afghan Taliban militants killed as Pakistan security forces repel attacks, says Information Minister

Islamabad (Web Desk): Pakistan’s Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, announced that security forces successfully repelled multiple attacks by Afghan Taliban in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), resulting in 67 militants killed and many others injured.

Sharing updates on his X account regarding Operation Ghazab lil Haq, the minister detailed that the Taliban targeted 16 sites in northern Balochistan, including Qilla Saifullah, Noshki, and Chaman, alongside fire raids on 25 additional positions. All attacks were successfully repelled, leaving 27 militants dead and several others injured.

During these operations, one soldier from FC Balochistan North was martyred defending the country, while five others were wounded.

In KP, militants attempted a physical attack at one site and carried out fire raids on 12 other positions. Security forces thwarted all actions without sustaining any casualties, with 40 Taliban operatives reported killed overnight.

Minister Tarar lauded the bravery and determination of Pakistan’s troops, stressing that the nation’s security forces remain vigilant and continue to take strong measures to neutralize militant threats and protect the country.
