Tehran : Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has sought to ease regional tensions, assuring that Iran will not carry out any aggressive actions or missile strikes against neighboring countries. The statement was made following approval from the Interim Leadership Council.
President Pezeshkian emphasized that Iran’s non-aggression policy remains in effect as long as its territory is not threatened. “We harbor no hostility toward our neighbors and regret the recent incidents that have caused concern,” he said.
In a message shared on social media, the president reiterated Iran’s commitment to regional peace while affirming the country’s sovereignty. He also urged that any efforts to mediate the ongoing situation should be led by the nations that initiated the conflict.
This statement comes amid heightened tensions in the Gulf region, signaling Tehran’s intent to maintain stability while avoiding escalation.
