Rawalpindi : Pakistan’s armed forces have intensified counter-terrorism operations along the North and South Waziristan border regions, targeting Afghan Taliban militants and the Fitna al-Khawarij network. The coordinated strikes reportedly dismantled multiple militant positions and compelled enemy fighters to abandon their posts and retreat.
According to military sources, the operations inflicted significant losses on insurgents. Several Taliban fighters were killed during the engagements, while others scattered under pressure from the Pakistan Army’s coordinated offensive.
