DPM, Kuwait FM voice serious concern over regional developments

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar spoke via telephone with Kuwait’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah to discuss pressing regional developments.

Both leaders voiced serious concern over recent attacks in Kuwait. Senator Dar conveyed Pakistan’s solidarity with the Kuwaiti government and people, stressing the importance of dialogue and de-escalation to ensure peace and stability in the region.

The two ministers also exchanged perspectives on issues currently under discussion at the United Nations Security Council and reaffirmed the strong, longstanding ties between Pakistan and Kuwait, describing their relationship as historic and brotherly.
