Karachi: Chief of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces, Vice Admiral Abdulrahman Al-Ghareebi, called on Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf at Pakistan Navy Headquarters. The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral naval ties and addressing regional maritime security challenges.
Upon his arrival, Vice Admiral Al-Ghareebi was presented with a guard of honor by the Pakistan Navy. During the meeting, Admiral Ashraf highlighted the Pakistan Navy’s role in Regional Maritime Security Patrols and its initiatives for ensuring peace and stability in the broader Indian Ocean region.
The Saudi naval chief acknowledged the professional training provided to Saudi cadets at the Pakistan Naval Academy and praised the enduring military cooperation between the two nations.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to expanding bilateral defense collaboration, particularly in the maritime domain. The visit reflects a mutual desire to deepen strategic ties and promote joint efforts in regional maritime security.
