Sindh: New oil and gas reserves have been discovered in Sindh, as Mari Energy Limited announced that its Mari Ghazij Exploration Well is producing 305 barrels of oil and 3 million cubic feet of gas daily.
The Managing Director of the company, Faheem Haider, expressed that this achievement is the result of the hard work of their scientists. He further stated that increasing the country’s dwindling gas production is their primary goal.
Mari Energy, which operates Pakistan’s largest gas reservoir in the city of Dharki, Sindh, supplies nearly 30% of the country’s gas market.
This discovery is expected to play a significant role in meeting the country’s growing energy demands.
