Air University Introduces Pakistan’s First BE in Electric Vehicles Program

ISLAMABAD: Air University has announced a pioneering 4-year undergraduate program in Electric Vehicles (EVs), set to begin in Fall 2025, subject to final approval by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).

This first-of-its-kind Bachelor of Engineering (BE) program focuses on the complete EV ecosystem, including Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs), Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEVs), and Fuel-Cell EVs.

Students will engage in practical learning with EV bikes, cars, trucks, drones, e-planes, and even electric submarines.

Hands-On Learning with Next-Gen Tech

The curriculum emphasizes hands-on application.
From smart charging infrastructure to AI-powered EV systems, students will gain real-world experience and training across multiple platforms.

This includes exposure to both software and hardware tools essential for the growing global electric mobility sector.

Shaping Pakistan’s EV Future

The program aims to produce industry-ready engineers who will lead EV innovation in Pakistan and beyond.

Air University’s initiative positions it at the forefront of advanced engineering education as demand surges for sustainable transport solutions.
