New Delhi: The Khalistan movement within the Sikh community is once again gaining strength. The Sikh For Justice (SFJ) group has announced that it will hold a referendum on November 23 in support of Khalistan, aiming to represent their demands and identity on an international platform.
This development comes amid growing unrest within the Sikh community due to the Modi government’s Hindutva ideology and stringent policies against minorities. Leaders of the movement say that ongoing oppression and pressure on minorities have intensified the demand for Khalistan.
The Sikh For Justice movement emphasizes that this referendum is an effort to protect minority rights and amplify their political voice—an effort that cannot be ignored by the government.
