Major Among Two Martyred, 11 Terrorists Killed in South Waziristan Operation

In a decisive intelligence-based operation (IBO) carried out in the Sararogha area of South Waziristan, Pakistan’s security forces killed 11 Indian-sponsored terrorists, according to a statement by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The successful operation was launched following credible intelligence about the presence of militants in the region. During the exchange of fire, the Pakistani troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ position, eliminating 11 of them and injuring seven others.

Brave Officers Lay Down Their Lives

During the intense firefight, Major Syed Moiz Abbas Shah embraced martyrdom along with Lance Naik Jibran Ullah.

Major Moiz, widely known for his fearless leadership and valor in anti-terror operations, made the ultimate sacrifice while defending the nation.

His heroism stands as a testament to the dedication and professionalism of Pakistan’s armed forces.

Lance Naik Jibran Ullah also gave his life in the line of duty, displaying immense courage during the confrontation. The armed forces paid rich tribute to their fallen comrades.

Sanitization Operation Underway

Following the engagement, a sanitization operation was launched to clear the area of any remaining militants.

Security forces are determined to eliminate all threats and ensure that no safe haven remains for Indian-sponsored elements operating within Pakistani territory.

The ISPR emphasized the commitment of the Pakistan Army in eradicating terrorism and maintaining peace across the country.

They reaffirmed that operations will continue until the complete elimination of foreign-backed insurgents is achieved.

This operation marks a significant step in Pakistan’s ongoing efforts to combat cross-border terrorism and maintain internal stability.
