Pakistan Army relief teams have continued their aid operations in the flood-hit areas of Mansehra, Nilban, and Batagram. On receiving reports from local residents, a relief team was dispatched to Nilban. Due to damaged and blocked routes, the team had to travel 8 kilometers on foot to reach the affected area.
At the site, the team provided first aid to injured individuals, including a child and an adult. Given the severity of their injuries, both were immediately shifted to the Rural Health Clinic in Chattar Plain for further medical care.
The Pakistan Army also established a medical camp in the area, where over 100 patients received medical treatment. The aid included medicines, first aid, and food supplies. Medicines provided addressed issues such as pain, fever, stomach ailments, skin conditions, and infections. Additionally, milk and food items were distributed to the most severely affected families.
During the rescue operation, the army faced challenges due to bad weather, continuous landslides, and impassable routes. Despite the difficulties, the team also carried out road clearance work on their return and safely reached Government High School Chattar Plain.
