Quetta: Quetta witnessed a major terror attempt when militants linked to “Fitna al-Hindustan” launched a suicide attack in the city. According to initial reports, the suicide bomber was disguised in a Frontier Corps (FC) uniform in an effort to bypass security checks and create chaos.

Security forces responded immediately, engaging the attackers in a heavy exchange of fire. In the swift and decisive operation, six terrorists were shot dead on the spot, preventing what could have been a large-scale tragedy.

During the encounter, two Frontier Corps personnel sustained injuries. Both were shifted to a nearby hospital where they are receiving medical treatment and are said to be in stable condition.

Law enforcement agencies have cordoned off the area and initiated a search operation to ensure no further threat remains. Authorities have praised the quick response of the security forces, stating that their timely action thwarted a potentially devastating attack on Quetta.

This incident once again highlights the persistent threat posed by terrorist outfits, while also demonstrating the readiness and bravery of Pakistan’s security forces in defending the country against such plots.
