ISLAMABAD:
Popular Pakistani actors Sanam Saeed and Mohib Mirza have announced the birth of their first child, a baby boy named Vali Hasan Mirza.
The couple shared the news via Instagram, revealing that their son was born on May 18, 2025.
In a heartfelt caption, Sanam wrote, “Our hearts are full. With love, wonder, and the tiniest little fingers — we welcome our son Vali Hasan Mirza into the world surrounded by love. All that is by the will of Allah — there is no power except through Him. Please keep our little one in your prayers.”
A Quiet Love Story Blossoms
The announcement comes after a quiet yet enduring relationship between the two stars.
Rumours of their relationship had circulated for years before they confirmed their marriage in early 2023 during a talk show hosted by Fahad Mustafa.
Mohib later revealed on The Knock Knock Show that his affection for Sanam began during the filming of Deedan in 2016, a time when he was still married to actor Aamina Sheikh.
Mohib and Aamina divorced in 2019, and Sanam had also previously been married to her childhood friend Farhan Hasan.
A New Chapter in Parenthood
Just days before the birth of her son, Sanam posted a touching tribute to her mother on Mother’s Day, subtly announcing her pregnancy.
She wrote, “I’ll be one very soon Inshallah. I pray I’m every bit like her and more. My saviour, my protector, my role model.”
Sanam has often shared her thoughts about marrying later in life, calling her decision to wed at 35 the best one she ever made.
She noted how societal pressures often limit personal choices, especially for women, and urged others not to be discouraged by age or past experiences.
Mohib, equally expressive, praised Sanam as a “focused and diligent” person, saying, “She inspires me. You won’t know a more balanced person.”
