Actress and model Anaya Khan has disclosed that she shares a friendship with Afghan cricketer Rashid Khan, with the two frequently exchanging messages on social media.
Casual Chats Sparked on Snapchat
Anaya revealed these details during a recent appearance on Mathira’s show, explaining that their friendship began through Snapchat. A mutual friend who was already connected with Rashid led to their introduction.
According to Anaya, Rashid initially messaged her asking if she was an actress. After some greetings, their conversations became regular, although she dismissed any rumors of a romantic relationship, pointing out that Rashid is already married.
Preferences and Social Circles
During the interview, Anaya also mentioned her preference for tall and quiet men. She noted that while she often meets Pakistani actors on sets and events, the chances of forming close friendships with them are slim. When asked if she had social media friendships with other actors, politicians, or players, she confirmed that her only such connection is with Rashid Khan.
Anaya humorously addressed comments on Islamic polygamy, suggesting that men sometimes use religion to justify multiple marriages.
