Skardu: Heavy rainfall and a cloudburst triggered multiple landslides along the Skardu-Deosai Road, leaving dozens of tourists and local residents stranded in vehicles at several locations.
In response to the severity of the situation, the Pakistan Army swiftly launched a rescue operation.Overnight, army engineers cleared the Skardu–Sadpara and Deosai–Sadpara village roads using heavy equipment.”
All stranded individuals and vehicles were safely relocated to secure areas. Traffic has now been fully restored and is flowing normally.
