Karachi — Following a dip in international gold prices, Pakistan’s local gold rates have also fallen sharply. The global price of gold decreased by $36 per ounce, reaching $3,361.
Consequently, local gold prices dropped by:
Rs. 3,600 per tola, now at Rs. 358,800
Rs. 3,086 per 10 grams, currently at Rs. 307,613
Experts say the decline reflects ongoing global economic uncertainties and currency market fluctuations, leading to a reduced appetite for gold investments.
