PM Shehbaz appoints Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi as coordinator for Islamic affairs and Gulf Countries

Islamabad : Prime Minister has appointed Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi as Coordinator for Islamic and Gulf Countries, a strategic move aimed at strengthening Pakistan’s ties with the broader Muslim world.

In this role, Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi will take the lead in enhancing diplomatic relations with Islamic and Gulf nations, as well as promoting interfaith harmony and fostering religious tolerance within Pakistan.

His appointment is viewed as a significant step in positioning Pakistan as a nation committed to dialogue, inclusivity, and constructive partnerships within the Islamic bloc.

With a well-established presence in both religious and diplomatic circles, Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi has previously served as a special representative and has strong ties with the Supreme Council of Islamic World Relations.
