21 advanced green buses sent from China to Balochistan

China: A fleet of 21 modern green buses has been dispatched from China to Balochistan, aiming to improve public transportation in the region. These buses are expected to begin serving residents of Quetta and Turbat in the coming weeks. Out of the total, 17 buses will join the Quetta Green Bus Service, while 4 will be allocated specifically for Turbat.

Officials from the Balochistan Transport Department described this initiative as a major step toward upgrading the quality of public transit and providing citizens with safer and more comfortable travel options.

To enhance women’s safety and convenience, special pink-colored buses will be introduced exclusively for female passengers in Quetta, ensuring segregated and secure travel facilities.

Authorities also highlighted that the launch of the Green Bus Service will help alleviate traffic congestion and reduce environmental pollution across the province. The buses are designed to consume less fuel and meet international environmental standards, promoting eco-friendly transportation.

The public has welcomed this move positively, expressing hopes that it will significantly ease transportation challenges in major cities of Balochistan.
