Islamabad: On the occasion of the 76th National Day of the People’s Republic of China, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif extended heartfelt congratulations to the Chinese leadership and people on behalf of the government and people of Pakistan.
In his message, the Prime Minister said that China’s National Day is not only a celebration of the country’s remarkable progress, but also a recognition of its significant role in promoting global peace, stability, and development. He described China’s development under the leadership of President Xi Jinping as a model for the world.
Shehbaz Sharif stated that the friendship between Pakistan and China is eternal and strong, based on trust, sacrifice, and sincerity. He added that this relationship is a guarantee of prosperity and peace for future generations.
The Prime Minister also referred to his recent visit to China, during which investment agreements worth billions of dollars were signed at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit and business conference. He emphasized that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is the most important project between the two countries and has now entered its second phase.
Prime Minister Shehbaz expressed confidence that Pakistan and China would continue to strengthen their partnership and achieve new milestones together.
