ISLAMABAD: Billie Eilish emerged as the biggest winner at the 2025 American Music Awards, taking home the prestigious Artist of the Year award along with six other accolades.
The ceremony, held in Las Vegas, recognized the young pop star’s outstanding achievements and solidified her status as a leading figure in the music industry.
Despite being on tour in Europe, Eilish expressed her gratitude in a video message, describing the experience as “speechless” and wishing she could have attended the event in person.
Dominating the Awards Night
Billie Eilish’s third studio album, released in May 2024, played a significant role in her sweeping success.
She won in every category she was nominated for, including Album of the Year and Favorite Touring Artist.
Her competition included renowned artists like Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar, and Morgan Wallen, all of whom were nominated in various categories. However, it was Eilish who captivated fans and voters alike, securing the top prize.
Other notable winners included Gracie Abrams, who was named New Artist of the Year, and SZA, who won both Favorite Female R&B Artist and Favorite R&B Song for her track “Saturn.” Becky G also earned recognition as the Favorite Female Latin Artist.
