Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif bid farewell to Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, who is retiring from his position.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister praised General Mirza’s professional expertise, his services to national defense, and his significant role in serving the country. He also acknowledged General Mirza’s dedication and commitment to his duties, extending his best wishes for his future endeavors.
It is noteworthy that following the 27th Constitutional Amendment, the position of Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee was abolished, leading to the retirement of General Sahir Shamshad Mirza.
