Lahore: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, while addressing traders and industrialists in Lahore, stated that the country’s economy cannot be run “through force.” He added that the previous government’s attempt to forcibly manage the economy was unsuccessful.
Bilawal Bhutto also shed light on the provincial performance in tax collection, pointing out that Sindh is outperforming the federal government and all provinces have surpassed the federal record. He emphasized the need for transparency in tax collection.
The PPP Chairman further mentioned that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is also keen on resolving traders’ issues and will continue to play an active role in addressing their concerns.
