FO urges Pakistani nationals to avoid unnecessary travel to Iran amid ongoing protests

Islamabad : Pakistan’s Foreign Office (FO) has issued a travel advisory urging citizens to postpone all non-essential trips to Iran until the security situation stabilizes.

In an official statement on Saturday, the ministry emphasized that the precautionary measure was taken to ensure the safety and security of Pakistani nationals in the region. The spokesperson advised Pakistanis currently residing in Iran to exercise heightened vigilance, limit their movements, and avoid unnecessary travel. Additionally, they were urged to stay in regular contact with Pakistan’s diplomatic missions in Iran for any required assistance.

The Foreign Office also provided the contact details of Pakistani missions in various Iranian cities to offer support to citizens.
