ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Railways has announced a special fare relief initiative to help passengers save on travel costs during the Eid festivities.
In an effort to ease the financial burden on travelers, a 20 percent discount will be offered on ticket fares for journeys made on the first three days of Eid.
Discount Details and Conditions
The discount covers all travel classes, ranging from economy to AC business class, ensuring that the offer is inclusive for all passengers.
However, this fare relief is only applicable for tickets purchased through on-the-spot bookings during the festive period.
Passengers who have already bought their tickets in advance will unfortunately not be eligible for the discount.
Additionally, the fare reduction does not extend to special Eid trains, which are operated separately to manage the increased holiday travel demand.
These special services will maintain their standard fare structure during the festival.
