Trump suggests US-Iran talks may resume in Pakistan within 48 hours

Washington: In an interview with international media in Washington, Donald Trump made notable remarks regarding the next phase of negotiations between the United States and Iran.

He suggested that the next round of talks could begin within the next 48 hours, with Pakistan being considered as a possible location for the discussions.

Speaking to journalists, Trump urged them to stay in Pakistan over the coming days, saying that significant developments could take place there soon.

He also praised Pakistan’s military leadership, particularly Field Marshal Asim Munir, calling him highly effective and crediting his leadership for strengthening Pakistan’s role in facilitating diplomatic efforts.

Trump added that choosing Pakistan reflects its importance in the ongoing process, rather than involving countries with limited relevance to the situation.

He further commented on energy policy in the United Kingdom, advising authorities to expand offshore drilling in the North Sea instead of relying heavily on wind energy.
