ISLAMABAD: Startling new footage released by US military sources has revealed a disc-shaped unidentified flying object (UFO) maneuvering through clouds along the Afghan-Pakistan border.
The video, recorded during a 2020 reconnaissance mission, shows what the Department of Defense has classified as a UAP — Unidentified Anomalous Phenomenon — making sharp, precise movements with no visible propulsion.
Investigative journalists Jeremy Corbell and George Knapp released the footage, calling it “historic” and unlike anything previously made public.
The video was captured on a high-altitude thermal sensor and is believed to show a disc between 200 and 400 meters in diameter.
No Heat, No Engine — Just Movement
What makes this sighting particularly baffling is the absence of any heat plume or engine trail — a signature expected from conventional aircraft.
“This was filmed using thermal imaging technology,” said Corbell.
“If there were any traditional propulsion systems, we would see them. But there’s nothing — no heat, no exhaust, no trails.”
The footage reveals the object emerging from clouds, reversing direction mid-air, and moving with agility that defies current aerospace understanding.
It differs from earlier ‘tic-tac’-shaped UAPs captured in other military videos, instead appearing as a smooth, symmetrical disc.
Intelligence Community Investigated for Years
Corbell and Knapp confirmed that the video was extensively studied within top-level US intelligence circles but was never intended for public release.
The two journalists say they validated the footage over two years through reliable sources actively involved in US government UFO programs.
“The object’s movement and shape are undeniable,” Knapp said.
“This was real, recorded by our military, and kept quiet until now.”
The video has sparked renewed debate around unidentified aerial phenomena and raised questions about advanced technology not yet understood by modern science.
Experts have called for transparent investigations into such sightings, arguing that the public deserves access to credible information on potential non-terrestrial encounters.
