ISLAMABAD:
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar will head Pakistan’s delegation to the 12th session of the Pakistan-UAE Joint Ministerial Commission (JMC), held today in Abu Dhabi.
The JMC is the highest institutional platform fostering bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and the UAE, focusing on strengthening strategic, economic, and development ties.
Agenda Focus and Delegation Details
The session aims to advance cooperation in key sectors including trade, investment, energy, infrastructure development, and information technology.
Pakistan’s delegation includes senior officials and secretaries from ministries such as Economic Affairs, Commerce, Energy, Maritime Affairs, and Interior.
On the UAE side, the session will be led by HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, alongside other high-ranking Emirati officials.
Strengthening Bilateral Ties
The meeting will review progress made in various areas of bilateral cooperation and explore new avenues to enhance partnership.
Several legal agreements are expected to be finalized to institutionalize collaboration across different sectors.
