Blast rocks Peshawar CTD police station, one officer killed, two injured

A powerful explosion occurred at the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) police station in Peshawar, reportedly caused by a short circuit. The blast resulted in the tragic death of one police officer, while two others sustained injuries. According to police sources, the explosion caused significant damage to a section of the building.

In the aftermath, a large contingent of police personnel arrived at the scene, and University Road was immediately closed to traffic as investigations began. Authorities have confirmed that the suspects previously held at the station were relocated to the CTD headquarters for further interrogation.
