Trump also stated that he has directed the U.S. Department of Defense to prepare for potential military action, asserting that the U.S. could eliminate terrorist elements in Nigeria through the use of force.
Following the President’s instructions, U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth confirmed that preparations for an operation in Nigeria are already underway.
