Peshawar: Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, has stated that if anyone else is found involved with former Lieutenant General Faiz Hameed, they will also face legal action and punishment.
He explained that Faiz Hameed was sentenced to 14 years based on recorded evidence from the Court Martial. The Governor emphasized that even a small mistake or illegal action could harm the province, and when political leaders are penalized, military officers must also be held accountable under the law.
Faisal Karim Kundi also criticized the provincial administration, mentioning that after the Secretariat was moved to Adiala, the secretariat officials have been unable to decide who to listen to and who not to. He suggested that if the provincial government collaborates with institutions to establish peace, the situation will improve.
