Iran submits latest proposal for talks with United States through Pakistani mediators: state media

Tehran: Islamic Republic News Agency reported on Friday that Iran has forwarded its latest proposal for negotiations to the United States through Pakistani mediation channels.

According to the report, Tehran handed over the text of its new negotiating proposal to Pakistan on Thursday evening as part of ongoing indirect diplomatic contacts with Washington.

Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei confirmed that Pakistan is officially acting as the mediator in communications between Iran and the United States.

He said that although a number of countries had offered to assist in facilitating dialogue, Pakistan currently holds the formal intermediary role in the negotiations process.

Baghaei further stated that if both sides reach a final decision regarding formal talks, an official announcement would be made publicly.

The latest development comes amid continued indirect diplomatic engagement between Tehran and Washington, with Pakistan serving as a key channel for exchanging proposals and messages between the two countries.
