Egypt appreciates Pakistan’s efforts for regional dialogue and mediation

Islamabad : Egypt has appreciated Pakistan’s continued diplomatic efforts aimed at encouraging dialogue and reducing tensions in the region.

The acknowledgment came during a telephone conversation between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty.

During the call, the two leaders reviewed the latest regional developments and emphasized the importance of maintaining diplomatic channels and constructive engagement to address ongoing challenges.

Both sides expressed hope that the current diplomatic initiatives would help bring the concerned parties closer to a mutual understanding, ultimately contributing to long-term peace, security, and stability in the region.

The Egyptian foreign minister also invited Ishaq Dar to attend the forthcoming meeting of the Regional Four (R-4) Foreign Ministers, which is scheduled to be held in Egypt later this month.

The Deputy Prime Minister welcomed the invitation and confirmed his participation. The two ministers also agreed to remain in close contact and continue consultations on regional matters.
