Karachi: President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari has directed Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi to play a key role in reducing political tensions.
The meeting took place at Bilawal House in Karachi, where detailed discussions were held regarding the political situation and the ongoing tensions between the Sindh and Punjab governments.
According to sources, a significant meeting between the senior leadership of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is also expected this week, during which the country’s political situation will be discussed.
