DPM Dar urges global action as Israel violates international law

Doha: Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has strongly condemned Israel’s expansionist actions, describing them as having crossed all limits. He denounced the attack on Qatar as a clear violation of international law and stressed that mere condemnation is no longer enough — practical measures are now necessary.

Dar revealed that Pakistan, in collaboration with Somalia, has formally requested an emergency meeting of the United Nations to address the escalating crisis. He also highlighted the significance of the emergency summit convened by Arab and Islamic countries as an important step towards resolving the situation.

Emphasizing the urgency of the matter, Ishaq Dar called for an immediate and unconditional ceasefire in Gaza. He criticized Israel’s conduct, stating it clearly indicates a lack of commitment to peace. Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s solidarity with the Muslim world and affirmed the country’s readiness to fully defend its sovereignty.
