Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, CDF Field Marshal Asim Munir discuss bilateral defence ties and regional security

Rawalpindi : Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir met with the President of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, in Islamabad on Tuesday.

According to a statement issued by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the meeting focused on matters of mutual interest, regional security, and strengthening bilateral defense cooperation.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further enhance the already strong ties between the armed forces of the two brotherly nations.

President Prabowo Subianto praised the professionalism of the Pakistan Armed Forces and acknowledged Pakistan’s significant role in promoting regional peace and stability.

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir emphasized that Pakistan values its longstanding relations with Indonesia and remains committed to expanding defense collaboration in areas such as training, counter-terrorism, and capacity-building.
