ISLAMABAD: In a dramatic courtroom revelation, a former aide to Sean “Diddy” Combs testified that the music mogul kidnapped her at gunpoint during a violent attempt to confront rapper Kid Cudi.
The shocking testimony came during Combs’ ongoing federal sex trafficking trial in Manhattan.
Testimony Details Kidnapping and Threats
Capricorn Clark, who once served as Combs’ global brand director at Bad Boy Entertainment, recounted a terrifying incident from December 2011.
According to Clark, Combs was furious that Kid Cudi was dating his longtime girlfriend, R&B singer Cassie (Casandra Ventura).
Clark testified that Combs came to her home wielding a gun and ordered her to get ready because “we’re going to kill Cudi.” Clark described how they drove to Cudi’s Los Angeles residence in a black Cadillac Escalade, with Combs and his bodyguard entering the house while she waited outside, making a call to Cassie to warn her of the situation.
Clark’s testimony painted a picture of a volatile and threatening environment, supporting the prosecution’s claims that Combs led a decades-long racketeering conspiracy involving violence, intimidation, and control over those around him.
Background of the Trial and Charges
Sean Combs, 55, is currently facing serious charges, including alleged abuse of his girlfriend Cassie and others. Prosecutors argue that Combs used a network of bodyguards and fear to maintain power and silence those who might oppose him.
Combs has pleaded not guilty and faces the possibility of 15 years to life in prison if convicted.
The trial has brought to light numerous allegations of violence and manipulation, with testimonies like Clark’s providing a vivid account of the darker side of the celebrity’s influence and behavior.
