ISLAMABAD: Security forces have demolished multiple terrorist hideouts in Lakki Marwat district during a major search-and-strike operation near the Kurram and Gambila Rivers.

Multi-Force Operation Launched

A joint contingent of police, CTD, Elite Force, and Frontier Reserve Police surrounded terrorist hideouts based on intelligence reports.

Authorities verified criminal records of 40+ suspects using digital systems during the daylong operation.

Strategic Location Targeted

The destroyed hideouts were being used to plan subversive activities across the district.

DPO Mohammad Jawad Ishaq confirmed the operation aimed to “tighten the noose around miscreants” and maintain regional peace.
