Karachi : Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Karachi on Monday for a one-day visit, where he was received at the airport by Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and other senior officials.
During his visit, the Prime Minister will tour the recently renovated Cantt railway station and officially inaugurate its upgraded facilities.
Railways Minister Hanif Abbasi is expected to brief the Prime Minister on the modern amenities introduced as part of the station’s extensive renovation. The project includes the addition of two modern lounges, the refurbishment of three waiting halls, the installation of executive washrooms, and the introduction of four new escalators to enhance accessibility.
In addition, an information desk has been set up to offer better assistance and convenience to passengers visiting the station.
